Anyway, review.
I though the drums were pretty cool and the piano is nice too. Maybe you could've add more instruments to make the song sound more full and create a richer sound. For example, a saxophone would sound really nice in this piece ^^

Thanks ^^ the problem is... my samples are a little limited... really hard to find good ones. specially for sax and trumpets and sortlike. i'll see what I can do with what I have ^^ I use Reason 4, not so keen on getting a new program... (i dont like FL :P)

Yeah i tried my best to avoide it being repetitive by using a lot of diffrint drums patterns. :P

I think this is one of my favourite songs you made.
It's completely in your own style (yes, you have an own style) and i love it! I really really REALLY love it!
I know reviews are meant to point out some bad things too, but with some songs that's just impossible for me. And this IS one of those songs!
I love the horns and the fast strings. Everything is just so.. so.. perfect!
I also love how you used dynamics.

My own style....might have to change that. Not that I don't like having a unique style, but I gotta avoid the trap of all my music sounding the same, you know?
I'm glad you liked this song, I really am, and I don't care what kind of review you give, as long as I know that someone out there enjoyed it then it's all good ;-)
I think the biggest relief for me personally was the fact that the things I chose to emphasize in this piece didn't fall flat. I was worried about that happening.

Wow, i really that beat. It's mellow, but it's also keeping the pace in the song which makes it very pleasant to listen too.
It's a shame that it is so short, but i enjoyed it anyway ^^
Hmm, maybe it's a good thing too that it is so short, otherwise it would be a bit repetitive, so i think it's better this way.
What i do miss though is a 2nd melody that fills up the empty spaces a bit. But screw that, it's very nice to listen too, so you get a

What i really like about your songs is that they're played live. This means that there isn't always perfect timing, but it adds so much emotion and feeling.
Hmmm, this song really makes me sit down and just listen. Yep, this song really got my attention ^^
Anyway, i'll try to write down the picture i see when listening to this song.
A man sits on the beach. He's watching the sea.
It's pretty busy on the beach, but he doesn't notice.
A tear falls down his face and then he sees that a little kid is walking towards him. The kid sits down next to him, but doesn't say a word.
They both look out over the sea.
Suddenly the kid speaks: ''Isn't the sea wonderful?''
''Yes it is'' the man responds.
They watch the sun slowly getting swallowed by the sea.
When the sun is gone completely the kid stands up and walks away. The man stays sitting there, because he has no home, no family and no friends.
Slowly he falls asleep.

Hmm, the strings and the piano compliment eachother perfectly and this entire song is in perfect balance. Nothing is too loud and nothing is too quiet. Nothing is too low and nothing is too high. Nothing could be better in this song.
In this song i can feel sadness, but also hope.
Now i'm going to listen for the 3rd time and i'll try write down some of the things that i imagine while listening to the song.

A man is sleeping in a bed. He's is slowly waking up and the image is zooming out. Now you can see that he is in a prison.

The man stands up and walks to the bars. After a short moment he walks to his bed again and he sits down.

He starts to wonder how things were, when he was still a free man. He wonders how things were, before the judges said he was guilty. If he could only prove he was innocent...

A flashback begins.
He's seeing him and his kids playing in a large open field. They had so much fun together just running around and playing games.
He wants to go back to that wonderful time and do it all over again.

The flashback fades away and he sees that the guards are coming to his cell.
It's time for the weekly visits and his wife comes almost every week and sometimes she brings the children with her.

He walks with the guards to the meeting place. He really hopes that his wife brought the children with her.
He has been 4 years in prison now. He only has 6 months until his release, but he is scared. He is scared that things can never be the same again.

When he walks through the door he sees his wife and children. They hug eachother and sit down at a table.
He asks his children how things were at school.
When they all told what they did that week they are starting to talk about how things were. They are talking about the trips they went on and the funny things that they experienced together.

The bell rings. Visiting time is over and they kiss eachother goodbye.
Slowly he walks away, with a tear falling from his eye, but also with a smile on his face.

I can't find a better word than ''funny'' to describe this song. And that's not negative, but extremely positive :-)
Now i'm going to listen to the song again and see if i hear anything that could be better. I didn't hear anything to improve the first time i listened ^^
When the song starts you immediatly hear the quality of the song. You also hear the mood of the song and that's very good :-)
Also, the song is NOT repetitive. Actually, it's far from repetitive and you did a very good job on that.
All the synths and little sounds work together amazingly!
The song flows really well too.
When you go into the next section (at 01:00) the change is quite big, BUT it is so well timed! Changes can do a song good and this change definatly did that ^^
Then you build things on that section which really gives you the feeling that it's working towards something. And it did! :D
Then at 02:08 you bring another change to the song. This change isn't as well timed as the first one, but it is still very very nice.
Then the end comes...
The end is the only thing in this song that i didn't like. I mean, you hear a synth playing and then it... stops. It just stops. No cool ending effect or no real climax.
The best thing i think you could do here is to change the last note an octave plus a few notes higher and hold that note a little longer and fade it out. Don't fade it out too slow, but not too fast either, just do what feels right.
All in all, you're getting a 10/10. I know, i should give you a 9/10, because a 10/10 is a perfect score and i had some critique, but you deserved a 10/10. And i'm serious about that. You can just hear the work put into this song and it really pays of.
