Today was a rainy day.
Some rainy days are good. Some are bad. This one was good.
I watched a movie with my brother. And just chilled a bit.
Rain has the ability to make me really calm and relaxed.
Just the sound of it has something magical and soothing.

I love rainy days during the summer. It cools everything down, makes it less humid, and just the sound of rain is really comforting at times. Thunderstorms are really soothing to me, which some people think is weird...
Also, I'd tap that. I mean that in an entirely heterosexual way of course.

A couple of months ago, we had a real nice one here. Although it started at 2 AM or something, but i was lucky i was still awake.
However, i was very sleepy.. i had a choice to make. Go to bed, or stay up and enjoy the thunderstorm?
I decided to open my window a bit and record the thunderstorm with my mic.
When i woke up, i had a huge recording of about 6 hours. I stopped the recording and cut all the silences, which resulted in 3 minutes of pure thunder.
I still have the file somewhere.. ah, there it is!

Rainy days are bittersweet. I find the rain soothing but I don't like the cold or the lack of sunlight. But then again nowadays I never go outside so even if it was raining delicious pastries, I wouldn't notice >.<
I don't really mind the lack of sunlight. I mean, sunlight is nice and all, but dark cloudy days can be nice too.. in their own way. I find that there's something beautiful in sadness, for some reason. That's why i like sad music too.
Also, a pastry rain would be really awesome :D
Ah it's been raining for the past few days here.. it's a nice refresher after all the dry heat! Actually it's been thunderstorming. It feels nice when it calms down a bit and you're just staring outside, listening to the rain patter on your roof, against your windows, with the rumbles of distant thunder echoing through the sky, and you just sit there, pondering anything and everything in life..
Or not pondering anything because you are unconsciously clearing your head of the unnecessary crap that daily life gives you :)
I also like softly playing my guitar outside to the noise of the storm. It's quite comforting :D
Not pondering anything seems quite hard to do :p
But yeah, it is quite relaxing and you described it quite nicely :)
Although i like to keep my guitar out of this business, because it's too frustrating that i can't play it well enough to my liking. So that makes the whole deal less relaxing :p

Well, I regularly check, if the abusive reviews got deleted, and when they got deleted, then I check the userpages of the users that flagged the reviews, to see if someone got a higher whistle, the system is rather succesful, two people got rid of their garbage whistle and have a normal whistle again, 3 users got a bronze whistle, and you got even a silver whistle :D
